I retained a client who is a web developer and one of the first projects I got was to re-write the copy for a channeler/psychic healer. Now, I think this stuff is a bunch of hooey, but it was a good paying job and I took it as a challenge. As a freelancer, I can't always write about subjects that get me jazzed up, but I do have my standards. I'd never do any X-rated or adult material for a paycheck, but for a Klondike bar...that's another story. I’ve been in this situation recently. They always made me laugh. What would I do for a Klondike bar? I would step outside my normal comfort zone if I could see that it would enhance my abilities. That's what I'm doing with my new job.
