I got another one of those emails the other day. You know the ones. The emails that start with “You won’t believe what is happening!” or “You have got to check this out!” Well, I do check them out, and the vast majority of the time they turn out to be false, or at the least, very inaccurate. Print Articles Versus Web Articles

The other day I was reading an article from Jennifer over at CatalystBlogger, and it got me rethinking about an issue that comes up from time to time. That is the difference between writing for print media versus writing for online. That wasn’t the focus of her post (her post was about setting your freelance prices), but it was something that came up in the comments.

Freelance Writing and the Free Market

As much as I understand the desire, or need, to accept low paying jobs, I also understand that as long as people accept those wages, the prices will stay low. Welcome to the free market.
